The following information was provided by Allen Rotz. While at the conference in Philadelphia, check out the interesting adaptive use of the Reading Railroad Terminal: http://www.paconvention.com/art/history.asp. It also includes the Reading Terminal Market which has several interesting eateries for lunch. Some serve breakfast.

- From the Washington Post’s Travel Section: “Gee Whiz, Cheesesteak Isn’t Philly’s Best Sub”. The article mentions DiNic’s which is in the Reading Terminal Market. The sandwiches are more than enough for two. This stand is apparently very busy but the line moves rather quickly. The downside is that they have very limited seating. They also only take cash. There might be seating in a central court, but the website fails to mention anything about this. There are other restaurants there as well http://www.readingterminalmarket.org/pdf/RTM_dir_2007.pdf. So, if you don’t want to spring for SIG lunches every day, there are a variety of options in the Reading Market.
