The end of the calendar year is a busy time for everyone for many reasons. We’ve collected some recent STC news that you shouldn’t miss.

Live seminars schedule is available

The schedule of live web seminars offered by STC was updated with the dates for December and January. You can always listen to the archived copy of the seminar if the scheduled dates for the live version are inconvenient for you.

Announcing the 2010 slate of candidates

The slate of candidates for Society office for 2010 was announced recently. The election is scheduled to begin March 9. Only STC members in good standing may vote.

Renewing your membership

Read more about renewing your STC membership. These are turbulent times for all of us for many reasons. Many are debating whether to renew. As one person mentioned, "there is no longer a place for complacency in STC". Indeed, accountability and responsibility are critical. We hope that many members want to do their part in strengthening and developing STC in the coming years.

For those whose decisions are tempered by their finances, STC announced a recovery package for members affected by the recession. Read the full announcement to learn whether you are qualified. Do share the news with your colleagues. If you are in the market for software, you could also get Madcap to pay for your membership!
